Joanne’s family is from Massachusetts but an employment opportunity for her dad with Lockheed Martin moved the family to Georgia. She graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and has work experience in both a court environment and the private sector. Always eager to learn new things, Joanne has experience in several arenas, i.e. interstate child support, probate, family and personal injury law. Of all these mentioned, the probate arena is her favorite.
As she has experienced the loss of close friends and family members, Joanne knows the wide range of feelings that persons experience in the grieving process. It is Joanne’s passion to help alleviate some of the burden and anxiety that comes with losing a loved one. Now adding a necessary court proceeding on top of the grieving being experienced can lead to a breaking point for many. As such, her skillset in Probate came naturally. She finds it truly rewarding to assist clients with the emotional and procedural complexities of the probate process.
Joanne is active in animal rescue. Joanne and her husband George are Henry County residents along with their 4-legged family of animal rescue alumni and difficult foster placements.
