The Estate & Asset Protection Law Firm Founder, Victoria L Collier, Writes About International Day Of Non-Violence And National Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Estate & Asset Protection Attorney, Victoria Collier informs readers about the opportunity to turn inward and discover ways in which violence may be being cultivated instead of peace and reinforces Gandhi’s message that “non-violence is the greatest force at the disposal of mankind.”

DECATUR, GA, October 15, 2019: Victoria L. Collier, founder of The Estate & Asset Protection Law Firm, has posted a new blog on her law firm’s website entitled “A Month Devoted To “The Greatest Force At The Disposal Of Mankind.” Ms. Collier encourages readers to look within for small ways they may be perpetrating violence instead of peace.

Collier states, “Today, as I write this, is October 2nd. It is The International Day of Non-Violence, observed on the birthday of world-renowned peace icon, Mahatma Gandhi.” She adds, “The entire month of October is also devoted to National Domestic Violence Awareness.”

According to Collier, “Non-violence, as Gandhi taught, “is the greatest force at the disposal of mankind. It is mightier than the mightiest weapon of destruction devised by the ingenuity of man.” She goes on to say that, “Gandhi is also known for constantly highlighting the gap between what we humans do and what we are capable of doing.”

“On this International Day of Non-Violence,” Collier writes, “I think about the multitude of forms violence takes in the turbulent times in which we live. Gun violence perpetrated on the young and helpless, domestic violence that goes on behind closed doors, the violence against our senior citizens and of course the violence of wars and armed conflicts across the globe, the violence of enforced poverty and the absolutely brutalizing effects of hate speech.” “In all of its forms,” says Collier, “violence continues to disrupt lives and cultivate fear.”
