The Elder Law & Disability Law Firm of Victoria Collier is growing and leading the pack, across the country in fact, in terms of best practices in elder law and estate planning. Located in Decatur, GA, nationally renowned Attorney Collier has added this position to her growing firm.
Realistically, the firm is looking for an attorney that not only reviews all documents that leave the office, but also ensures the highest quality of documents, and that all standards and procedures are being followed.
This attorney will help ensure the efficient and effective use of all staff time, including their own and ensures all client files move smoothly through the office. If staff have a question or concern, they will come to you, too. On occasion, you may have to draft documents as well.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with proven leadership capabilities, strong tax and business acumen, and an inherent drive to help grow and develop the practice. A creative problem-solver that employs a business consultative approach will best serve clients along with a demonstrated commitment to the profession is inherent in this role.
An excellent eye to detail, strong research skills and the desire and ability to review all estate planning documents, as well as Medicaid and VA applications, is critical. The ability to develop and manage relationships with clients and other firm members is paramount to driving personal and firm success.
Likewise, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness must be unwavering to succeed along with a willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team as a whole.
To get the job done, you must have a Juris Doctorate degree from accredited school of law with license to practice law in the state of Georgia with L.L.M. in Taxation or CPA preferred. At least 5-7 years’ estate planning, elder law, estate administration and long term care planning experience required. Prior supervisory experience required with strong knowledge of Georgia Medicaid laws and Veterans Benefits.
In a nutshell, you will have a knack for details, following procedures, evaluating and creating new procedures, and ensuring completion of all files by established deadlines while ensuring an effective system is in place to do so.
