Sherry is responsible for the preparation of Medicaid applications on behalf of our clients. She spends considerable time in gathering documents from clients and guiding them through the application process. Once filed, Sherry also tracks the application’s process through the system until approved.

Sherry has always been a caring and ambitious individual. She wants to keep a smile on individuals’ faces and make a difference. Sherry loves to learn and explore and believes that she will never stop learning. Sherry also believes that there is never a particular area of law of which you can know too much.

Sherry earned a bachelors’ degree in Political Science and Public Affairs from Columbia College. Afterward, she moved to Fayetteville, Georgia, and attended Clayton State University, completing the Paralegal Program. During her time at Clayton State University, she interned at the Georgia Public Defenders Office, the Mental Health Department (Criminal) and Shane Smith’s Law Office (Personal Injury). Sherry has also worked at a Social Security and Disability law firm for two years. The skills and knowledge she has gained from each work experience have brought her to where she is now.

Sherry is the oldest girl, with a younger sister and older brother. Born and raised in Florence, South Carolina, she is a country girl who enjoys the company of family and friends. Most of her success is attributable to having two amazing parents. Sherry’s parents have instilled in each of their children the foundation necessary to succeed in life. Her family is what keeps Sherry striving for her very best. In her spare time, Sherry enjoys time with family and friends, shopping, eating, cooking, working out, playing video games, attending sporting activities, and traveling.
